Women in the Arts is a project by First Block Sounds and Camera Story. The collection of artworks created showcases the powerful expressions of women from the remote communities of Kupungarri and Mowanjum, as part of the Women in the Arts initiative.

This program offers safe and supportive space for First Nations women to share their stories, culture, and experiences through photography and writing. Each piece reflects individual self-expression, and celebrates both identity and community.

Through mentorship and access to creative resources, this project empowers these women to bridge the gap between education and the workforce, offering a platform for their unique voices to be heard.
